The Kenyon E-Section Boom Tube has been retooled to provide a lighter yet considerably stronger extrusion, while still allowing complete compatibility with all Kenyon Hardware. The New Style E-Section Boom Tube will work with all Kenyon Hardware found on Booms using the Old Style E-Section.

Kenyon E-Section Boom Kit - Internal Outhaul & Reef Lines

E-Section Boom Kit - Internal Lines: K-EBK-2:
Kenyon E-Section Internal Boom Kit comes complete with all hardware required to assemble an E-Section Boom with an Internal 4-1 outhaul purchase and 2 Internal Reef Lines, except the Boom Tube, and Reef lines.
Kit includes: Gooseneck with sheaves and cams (without Toggle), K-43006; Outhaul Assembly with 3 sheaves, K-11471; (1) Boom Bail, K-2223; 4-1 Outhaul Tackle with Clew Shackle, K-90227M; 4" Cleat for Outhaul line, D-10324; all the fasteners required and instructions.
Order E-Section Boom Tube separately (specify finish and length). If additional parts (Toggle, bails, etc.) are required, they must be ordered separately. All components are detailed below. Tools required include a drill, 10-24 and 1/4-20 taps, common screw drivers and wrenches, and a basic understanding of measuring, drilling and tapping. An 1/8" Nicopress Tool is also required to finish the Outhaul wire.

E-Section Internal Gooseneck Assemblies Kenyon Internal Gooseneck Assemblies allow easy control of up to three internal lines. An outhaul on the bottom centerline which is led to a cleat on the underside of the boom, and one or two reef lines which can be cleated with integral friction-lock lever-action cams, or led to the deck and cleated aft.
Note: Kenyon Internal Gooseneck Assemblies are now equipped with the new friction-lock lever-action cams for greater holding ability, and SS cover plates to keep the reef lines captive at all times. Old-Style units featured Spring Cams (with or w/o handles), and different reef sheaves than the improved version. The Old-Style units are easily identified by the absence of the SS cover plates. While upgrading to the improved style using one of the *K-11443* Conversion Kits (below) is recommended, original parts for the Old-Style gooseneck are still available. E-Section Internal Gooseneck Ass'y w/ Toggle/Tack fitting: K-43006A:
Cast aluminum gooseneck assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 2 internal reef lines. Outhaul line exits through aluminum sheave, *K-198-7A, on centerline and runs along boom bottom to a cleat. Reef lines exit port and starboard running past lever action cams, over delrin sheaves, and down. SS cover plates keep lines on sheaves at all times. Includes SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly K-10345A.* Toggle attaches to any Kenyon gooseneck bracket designed for 1 1/2" toggle and 3/8" vertical pin. Vertical pin, K-CP6-76, is not included. Distance from vertical Toggle Pin to boom tube is 5 3/8". Parts for E-Section Internal Gooseneck Assembly.
E-Section Internal Gooseneck Ass'y: K-43006: As K-43006A, above, but without SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly, K-10345A. Attaches to K-10345A or other Toggles up to 7/8" wide, using a 3/8" bolt and locknut (included). Casting extends 5" (maximum) forward of the boom tube. Distance from horizontal Pin hole to boom tube is 4 3/8". Parts for E-Section Internal Gooseneck Assembly.

*E-section External Gooseneck Ass'y: K-10695:* E-section External Gooseneck Assembly is as K-10695A, above, but without outhaul sheave or axle. For staysail booms, jib clubs, or booms wishing to use the K-10345A SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly, or similar, but without the need for internal lines. Attaches to K-10345A or other Toggles up to 7/8" wide, using a 3/8" bolt and locknut (included). K-10659

Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Ass'y w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345A: Used with the Kenyon E-Section internal gooseneck, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557. *Takes 3/8" vertical and* horizontal pins. Two reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 1" between pin centers. Unit (excluding Reef Hooks) is 4" high x 7/8" wide x 2 1/4" long. Attaches directly to any of the Kenyon SS Gooseneck Brackets designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle with 3/8" vertical pin K-CP6-76.**
	Tack Fastpin for 1 1/2" toggle: K-10557 (FP-6-32): SS Fastpin is 3/8" diameter x 1" long. Used in 1 1/2" Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly K-10345A.
	Gooseneck Clevis Pin: K-CP6-76: Vertical Clevis Pin for use with *K-10345A* Gooseneck Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly and standard Gooseneck Brackets. SS pin is 3/8" diameter with 2 3/8" grip length.
Long Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Ass'y w/ Reef Hooks: K-10345AL: As *K-10345A, above, but modified to increase the Tack Setback by 1". Greater clearance at the vertical Pin also allows for use with some Aluminum Gooseneck Brackets and Slides not compatible with the standard unit. Used with the Kenyon E-section, 3350, 3550, and 3756 Internal Goosenecks, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557.* Takes 3/8" vertical pin and 3/8" horizontal pin. Two 5/16" reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 2" between vertical and horizontal pin centers. Easily installed Kit includes everything necessary for 2 reef lines including Cam levers, adjustable friction washers, reef sheaves, SS spacers, Cover plates, bolts and locknuts. Easily installed Kit includes everything necessary for leading reef lines down and aft, including (2) reef sheaves, (4) SS spacers, Port and Starboard Cover plates, bolts and locknuts. This Kit converts any E-Section Internal Reefing Gooseneck (Old or New-Style) to the K-10666 Gooseneck Assembly, above.
SS Gooseneck Slide for 1 1/4" x 3/16" Flat Track & 1 1/2" Toggle: K-10430M:
Special SS Gooseneck Slide specially designed for use with Kenyon K-10345-series Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Assemblies. Slide fits 1 1/4" x 3/16" SS Flat Track (and Kenyon 1 1/4" Gooseneck Track, as well as standard 1 1/4" aluminum T-Track). SS Gooseneck Slide is 4" high x (maximum) 1 1/2" wide and fits most 1 1/2" Toggles using a 3/8" vertical pin or bolt. Slide has heavy welded SS ring for attachment of downhaul line or shackle.

E-Section Outhaul Assemblies
*E-Section Internal Outhaul Ass'y: K-11471:* Cast aluminum boom end fitting has centerline aluminum sheave for up to 3/16" wire or 3/8" line, and (2) 1 7/8" aluminum sheaves for 3/8" reef lines. Includes 3/8" clevis pin for topping lift attachment. New-style fitting requires no tube cutting to mount. Casting extends 2 5/8" (maximum) aft of the boom tube. Parts for K-11471 E-Section Internal Outhaul Assembly.
E-Section Internal Outhaul Ass'y for Cut-away Boom: K-43008: Lightweight cast aluminum 3-sheave boom end fits in boom with cut-away end for minimum weight. Includes centerline aluminum outhaul sheave for up to 3/16" wire or 3/8" line, (2) 1 7/8" aluminum sheaves for 3/8" reef lines, and 3/8" clevis pin for topping lift attachment. Minimum weight end fitting requires 2 1/4" tube cutout on top and angle cut on bottom to mount. Parts for E-Section Cut-away Outhaul Assembly.
E-Section Internal Outhaul Tackle, 4-1: K-90227M: Internal Outhaul Tackle for use with E-Section Boom provides a 4-1 purchase. Block and Tackle assembly includes 22' of 5/16" line and 14' of 1/8" wire spliced to the Blocks. Becket block attaches to bolt at forward end of boom, line exits through centerline Gooseneck sheave, wire exits through centerline sheave in outhaul assembly. Wire length is suitable for longest standard length boom, but must be cut shorter in most applications. Includes fiddle block, single block w/ becket, spliced line, wire, and loose captive-pin Clew shackle w/ thimble & nicopress. An 1/8" Nicopress Tool is required for installation. 03

E-Section Outhaul Casting: K-E444: Cast aluminum boom end fitting has tab with 2 holes for outhaul, and/or topping lift attachment. For use on booms where no lines exit aft.
E-Section Outhaul Ass'y w/ Tang: K-E444-1: As K-E444, above, but includes swiveling tang for mainsheet or topping lift attachment. Swiveling attachments for mainsheet and/or topping lift are required for use with roller-reefing goosenecks.
E-Section Outhaul Ass'y w/ 2 Tangs: K-E444-2: As K-E444-1, above, but includes 2 swiveling tangs for mainsheet and/or topping lift attachment. Swiveling attachments for mainsheet and/or topping lift are required for use with roller-reefing goosenecks.

E-Section Standard Boom Accessories
Outhaul Slides A variety of Outhaul Slides are available to fit the 1/2" Boltrope groove in the E-Section Boom. See Outhaul Slides for 1/2" Boltrope Groove.
*Vang Bracket for E-Section Boom: K-1757-1:* SS Vang Bracket is contoured to fit E-Section boom and has welded triangle with 3/4" hole for attachment of vang tackle. Fastens with (6) 3/16" (#10) fasteners.
Internal Vang Reinforcement Sleeve: K-11903E: Internal Stiffener is designed to fit the E-Section Boom, to reinforce the heavily loaded Vang area. Extruded sleeve fits inside of the boom, and is fastened with 3/16" SS rivets (every 4-6") through the bottom of the Boom.
Internal Boom Bail: K-11428: Heavy 5/16" SS bail is welded to a SS plate formed to fit the *inside* of the boom. Unit is mounted inside the boom, where bail protrudes through a 5/16" x 1 1/2" slot, and is held in place with (2) 3/16" SS rivets on 3 1/4" centers. Curved plate measures 4" long x 1 3/8" wide.
Boom Bail - 3/8" x 2 3/4" wide: K-2223: Heavy SS Boom Bail made from 3/8" rod is designed to be attached with (1) 3/8" SS bolt and nut. Formed at 2 3/4" wide, width can be varied to fit larger or smaller sections. Bail length, from bolt center, is 3 1/2". For use with E-Section boom.
Boom Bail, Long - 3/8" x 2 3/4" wide: K-2223L: Long Heavy SS Boom Bail made from 3/8" rod is designed to be attached with (1) 3/8" SS bolt and nut. Formed at 2 3/4" wide, width can be varied to fit larger or smaller sections. Bail length, from bolt center, is 5 3/4". Especially suitable for use with Boom Vang on E-Section boom.
	Boom Bail Bolt Ass'y - 3/8" for E-Section Boom: K-2223BA: Boom Bail bolt assembly includes 3/8" SS bolt x 3 1/2", with locknut and nylon washers to prevent bail from damaging boom surface as it pivots. For use with K-2223 Boom Bails on E-Section boom.

Winch Pad for E-Section: K-SP-064: Cast Aluminum Winch Pad is 4" diameter, and contoured to fit on centerline of E-Section. Pad insulates winch from spar wall and properly seats it for mounting. Pad is attached to boom with (1) 1/4" FH machine screw, clearance holes for screws to mount winch are then drilled through pad, winch mounting holes are drilled and tapped in spar wall.
*Stainless Steel Winch Pad: K-1139:* Stainless Steel winch plate is contoured to fit on centerline of E-section Boom. Pad insulates winch from spar wall and properly seats it for mounting. Pad is attached to mast with (1) 3/16" (#10) FH machine screw, clearance holes for screws to mount winch are then drilled through pad, winch mounting holes are drilled and tapped in spar wall. *Spar Cleat - 4" long: Ken D-10324:* Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for use with line up to 3/8" diameter. Commonly used for Outhaul Line. *Spar Cleat - 5" long: Ken D-10325:* Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for use with line up to 1/2" diameter. Black Epoxy coated Cleat is 5" long, and fastens to spar with (2) 7/32" (#12) FH screws on 1 1/2" centers. See also, other Kenyon Spar Cleats.
*Clam Cleat w/ Fairlead & Curved Base: K-9116X:* Clam Cleat with fairlead is used in place of standard Spar Cleat for frequent Outhaul adjustment in racing applications. Best mounted forward of an eyestrap (K-226) with small block (Har 082, or equivalent). Suitable for use with 3/16"-5/16" (4-8mm) line, black plastic unit fastens with (2) #10 (3/16") x 3/4" FH Screws on 2 1/8" (55mm) centers. Unit measures 3 7/16" long x 7/8" wide (88x22mm). CL231 Midi
*SS Eyestrap: K-226:* Small Stainless Steel Eyestrap is used for securing smaller items to boom. Attaches to Boom with (2) 3/16" (#10, 5mm) screws or rivets.
*Single Bullet Block: Har 082:* Small single Bullet Block is used for the Outhaul line on the bottom of the Boom. Plastic Ball-Bearing Block has 1 1/8" OD Delrin Sheave suitable for use with line up to 5/16" diameter. Use with K-226 Eyestrap and K-9116X Clam Cleat, above.
*Cheek Block w/ Curved Base: K-140X:* Cheek Block with curved base to fit Kenyon E-Section Boom is sometimes used for topping lift. SS Cheek Block has 1 1/16" OD Delrin Sheave suitable for use with line up to 3/8" diameter. Base is 3 3/16" long x 7/8" wide, and fastens to spar with (4) 3/16" (#10) RH screws on 2 11/16" (horizontal) and 1/2" (vertical) centers.
*Track Reinforcement Kit for E Section Boom: K-11080K:* Special SS Luff Track Reinforcement Kit for old-style E-Section Boom. Kit includes 2 SS plates formed to match Boom Section at track edge. Attaches to Boom Section over Outhaul Slide area to keep slide from pulling out. SS plates are 8" long x 1 1/2" wide and fasten to Boom with 4 (#10) machine screws each (included).
