Kenyon Standard Internal Gooseneck Assemblies
allow easy control of up to three internal lines. An outhaul on the bottom centerline which is led
to a cleat
on the underside of the boom, or aft to the cabintop, and a reefing line on each side. Reefing lines
go over a
sheave and down, and can be cleated at the gooseneck with integral friction-lock lever-action cams,
or lines can
be led to the deck and cleated aft on the cabin top. SS cover plates protect sheave and/or cam, and
keep
the reefing lines captive at all times.
Note: Kenyon Old-Style Internal Gooseneck Assemblies featured Spring Cams (with or w/o handles), and different reef sheaves than the improved version. The Old-Style units are easily identified by the absence of the SS cover plates. While upgrading to the improved New-Style cam arrangement using one of the K-11443 Conversion Kits (below) is recommended, original parts for the Old-Style gooseneck are still available. 3756 Internal Gooseneck Assembly w/ Toggle/Tack fitting: K-43002A: | |
Cast aluminum gooseneck assembly incorporates provisions for
internal outhaul and 2 internal reef lines. Outhaul line exits through aluminum sheave on
centerline and runs along boom bottom to a cleat. Reef lines exit port and starboard
running past lever action cams, over delrin sheaves, and down. SS cover plates keep lines
on sheaves at all times. Includes SS combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly, K-10345A.
Toggle attaches to any Kenyon gooseneck bracket designed for 1 1/2" toggle and
3/8" vertical pin. Vertical pin, K-CP6-76, is not included.

Gooseneck Toggle/Tack Assembly w/ Reef Hooks:
K-10345A: Used with the Kenyon E-section, 3550, and 3756 internal goosenecks, this combination Toggle/Tack/Reef Hook Assembly features 3 tack positions and includes 3/8" tack fastpin, K-10557. Takes 3/8" vertical and horizontal pins. Two reef hooks allow for ease of reefing from either side of the boom. Toggle portion is 1 1/2" high x 7/8" wide with 1" between pin centers. Unit (excluding Reef Hooks) is 4" high x 7/8" wide x 2 1/4" long. Attaches directly to any of the Kenyon SS Gooseneck Brackets designed for a 1 1/2" Toggle with 3/8" vertical pin, K-CP6-76.

K-10380: SS axle pin is 3/8" dia. x 1" grip, with a turned groove on each end to accept 3/8" SS Snap Rings, K-63015 (2 included).

K-11443: Cam Conversion Kit for 3756 Gooseneck converts Old-Style Spring-Cam arrangement to the New-Style friction cam assembly. Kit includes everything necessary for 2 reef lines including Cam levers, adjustable friction washers, reef sheaves, SS spacers, Cover plates, bolts and locknuts. No machining is required. Individual components are listed separately, below.

New-Style Sheave Conversion Kit for 3756: K-11443NC: Sheave Conversion Kit for 3756 Gooseneck converts Old-Style Gooseneck to the New-Style with Cover Plates, Sheaves, and No cams. Easily installed Kit includes everything necessary for leading reef lines down and aft, including (2) reef sheaves, (4) SS spacers, Port and Starboard Cover plates, bolts and locknuts. No machining is required. Individual components are listed separately, below. As K-11443, above, but with 2 SS Spacers to replace the reef cams.
