Harken Foot Blocks / Turning Blocks Harken has been made Foot Blocks / Turning Blocks in a variety of styles over the years, some older versions are still available. Common on production and one-off boats from the late 1970's and on, most units feature easily replaceable sheaves. Harken Foot Blocks listed on this page are not currently in production. Aluminum Foot Block w/ 3" Ball-Bearing Sheave: Har 511X:
Harken Foot Block features 3" Aluminum Sheave with High Load Ball & Roller Bearing construction. Harken "Big Boat" Sheave (Har 500) is 3" OD x 7/8" wide x 3/8" ID, with wire/rope V-groove. Unit is 4 1/2" long x 3 1/16" wide x 1 3/16" high, and attaches to deck with (1) 3/8" and (2) 5/16" bolts. Plastic isolation washers and SS washers are included, bolts must be purchased separately. Suitable for use with up to 9/16" line, safe working load is 3500 lbs.. As used on a variety of boats in the 35' range.

Double Harken Foot Block features two (2) 3" Aluminum Sheaves with High Load Ball & Roller Bearing construction. Harken "Big Boat" Sheave (Har 500) is 3" OD x 7/8" wide x 3/8" ID, with wire/rope V-groove. Unit is 4 1/2" long x 3 1/16" wide x 2 3/16" high, and attaches to deck with (1) 3/8" and (2) 5/16" bolts. Plastic isolation washers and SS washers are included, bolts must be purchased separately. Suitable for use with up to 9/16" line, safe working load on Lower Sheave is 3500 lbs., Upper Sheave is 1750 lbs.. As used on a variety of boats in the 35' range. ##

Aluminum Foot Block w/ 57mm (2 1/4") Ball-Bearing Sheave: Har 6091:
Harken ESP Foot Block features 57mm (2 1/4") Delrin Ball-Bearing Sheave with Aluminum cheeks. Block is (maximum) 3 3/4" (85mm long x 2 3/8" (60mm) wide x 1 1/8" (29mm) high, and attaches to deck with (3) 5/16" (8mm) FH screws. Rubber isolation pad is included, bolts must be purchased separately. Suitable for use with up to 5/8" line, safe working load is 1000 Kg. (2205 lbs.).
