Z-Spar Exit Blocks

Exit Blocks incorporate a sheave, and are used to exit any internal control line (halyards, pole lifts, etc.) from a spar where a directional change of 90 to 180 degrees is required. Z-Spar Exit Blocks all attach to the mast with two (2) fasteners. Other Exit Blocks are available for replacement or exact matching purposes. *Small Exit Block w/ 28mm Sheave: Z-1056X:* Small cast Aluminum Exit Block with 1 1/8" (28mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 3/16" (5mm) diameter. Sheaves, Z-1610 or Z-1610A, ride on 6mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 2 3/4" (70mm) long x 13/16" (20mm) wide. Assembly fits in mast cutout 1 7/8" (47mm) high x 17/32" (13.5mm) wide and projects 13/16" (20mm) inside of mast. Mounting surface is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast surfaces. Assembly is mounted with (2) 3/16" (5mm) fasteners on 2 1/4" (57mm) hole centers. This part is not currently available, but a suitable replacement is. The cast Aluminum Z-1056ARep with Aluminum sheave is dimensionally identical to the Z-1056X, but with a wider (8mm) sheave with an 8mm ID.
*Exit Block w/ 28mm Sheave: Z-1768D:* Gray Plastic Exit Block with 1 1/8" (28mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 1/4" (6mm) diameter. Plastic sheave (Z-1614) rides on 6mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 3 1/8" (80mm) long x 7/8" (22mm) wide. Assembly fits in mast cutout 1 15/16" (50mm) high x 3/4" (18mm) wide and projects 3/4" (18mm) inside of mast. Mounting surface is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast surfaces. Assembly is mounted with (2) 3/16" (5mm) fasteners on 2 7/16" (62mm) hole centers.
*Aluminum Exit Block w/ 28mm Sheave: Z-1768XD:* Cast Aluminum Exit Block with 1 1/8" (28mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 1/4" (6mm) diameter. Plastic sheave (*Z-1614*) rides on 6mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 3 1/8" (80mm) long x 7/8" (22mm) wide. Assembly fits in mast cutout 1 15/16" (50mm) high x 3/4" (18mm) wide and projects 3/4" (18mm) inside of mast. Mounting surface is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast surfaces. *Aluminum Exit Block w/ 28mm Aluminum Sheave: Z-1768XA:* Cast Aluminum Exit Block with 1 1/8" (28mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 1/4" (6mm) diameter. Aluminum sheave (Z-1611A) is 9.5mm wide and rides on 6mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 3 1/8" (80mm) long x 7/8" (22mm) wide. Assembly fits in mast cutout 1 15/16" (50mm) high x 3/4" (18mm) wide and projects 3/4" (18mm) inside of mast. Mounting surface is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast surfaces. *Exit Block w/ 45mm Sheave: Z-1769D:* Gray Plastic Exit Block with 1 3/4" (45mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 7/16" (12mm) diameter. Plastic sheave (Z-1616) rides on 8mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 4 1/2" (115mm) long x 1 1/4" (31mm) wide. Assembly fits in mast cutout 3" (75mm) high x 1" (24mm) wide and projects 1 1/8" (28mm) inside of mast. Mounting surface is slightly curved to fit a variety of mast surfaces. Assembly is mounted with (2) 3/16" (5mm) fasteners on 3 5/8" (92mm) hole centers.
*Exit Block w/ 45mm Aluminum Sheave: Z-1769A:* Gray Plastic Exit Block with 1 3/4" (45mm) diameter Aluminum Sheave will accommodate lines up to 7/16" (12mm) diameter. Aluminum Sheave (Z-1616A) rides on 8mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 4 1/2" (115mm) long x 1 1/4" (31mm) wide. Plastic sheave (Z-1707) rides on 14mm SS axle. Block measures (visible when installed) 7 1/2" (190mm) long x 1 1/2" (38mm) wide.
