Z-Spar Batten Cars
Z-Spar uses its own Recirculating Ball-Bearing and Slide Rod Batten Cars on a special Mast Track. Clear anodized Recirculating Ball Track is 24.7mm (>1"), or 30mm (1 3/16") wide. Ball-Bearing Cars are shipped on a piece of Car Loader track, and must not be removed from Mast track without Car loader, as ball loading is difficult. Note: These Cars have been produced in a variety of different lengths and configurations not listed here. When ordering parts, be sure to check measurements! To order Batten Cars and Parts not listed below, we will require a sketch or photo of the parts with complete dimensions.
 
Z-Spar Batten Track for Mast: Z-____-__:
Z-Spar uses a variety of Full Batten Mast Tracks. Tracks of a given width differ only by the means with which they attach to the Mast. Clear anodized Recirculating Ball Tracks are 24.7mm (<1"), or 30mm (1 3/16") wide. To order Track to fit a Z-Spar Mast, you must specify which Mast Section it is to fit, See: Z-Spar Mast Specifications & Components.

 
End Stop w/ Bumper for Z-Spar Batten Track: Z-1138A:
End Cap for use with Z-Spar Full Batten Mast Tracks incorporates a rubber bumper, Z-150, to reduce impact stress. Cast aluminum End Cap is 24mm (1 15/16") long x 35mm (1 3/8") wide, and attaches to Track with (1) 6mm (1/4") screw.

 
Short Batten Car for Z-Spar RCB Track: Z-3481AT:
Batten Car designed for use with Masts using Z-Spar Full Batten Mast Track that is 24.7mm (<1") wide. Car incorporates fully articulating toggle with 10mm threaded stud (22mm long) for batten attachment. Car rides on Torlon Ball Bearings to provide high strength and low friction at a minimum weight. Extruded Aluminum Car has removable end caps, for easy ball replacement. Car is 82mm (3 1/4") long x 60mm (2 3/8") wide. Short Batten Car uses forty-four (44) Torlon ball bearings.

Welded Stainless Steel Toggle as used on Z-3481AT and Z-3485AT Batten Cars. SS Toggle is 26mm high x 12mm wide x (maximum) 36mm long with holes for 8mm vertical pin and 6mm horizontal screw.

 
 

 

 SS Stud for Z-3481 & Z-3485 Batten Cars: Z-3481-S10:
Stainless Steel Stud as used on Z-3481AT and Z-3485AT Batten Cars. Threaded Stud has 10mm thread x 20mm long, x (maximum) 50mm long with 6mm cross hole.

Short piece of Z-Spar Z-733 RCB Track is modified for Car transport and Ball loading. This item is shipped (in various lengths) with all Z-Spar RCB Cars, used to transfer the Car to the Track. Z-Spar Z-733 RCB Track is 5" long with one end stopped.

Batten Car designed for use with Masts using Z-Spar Full Batten Mast Track that is 24.7mm (<1") wide. Car rides on Torlon Ball Bearings to provide high strength and low friction at a minimum weight. Extruded Aluminum Car has removable end caps, for easy ball replacement.
