Internally mounted Backing Plate Tangs are easy to install, requiring only a round hole (not a slot)
in the Mast.

'Rounded' T-Ball (Lollipop)
Shroud fittings. Used for Larger shrouds (7/32", 6mm and up), these fittings are stronger and
provide greater articulation
than the standard Gibb T-Ball. Rubber Retaining
Plugs
Gib 842, below,
are available to keep 'Rounded' T-Balls from moving when not under load.

T-Ball Backing Plate for 7/32", 1/4", & 6mm wire: Gib 840-M06: SS T-Ball Backing Plate Tang for 7/32" and 1/4" (or 6mm) wire using Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball swage fittings, Gib 841. Mounting requires a 1 3/16" hole in the Mast, unit is attached using (3) 3/16" (5mm) rivets. Formed Plate is 3 3/4" long x 1 3/16" wide, and is contoured for use with most Mast Sections.

Mounting requires a 1 5/8" hole in the Mast, unit is attached using (3) 1/4" (6mm) rivets. Plate is 4 3/4" long x 1 1/2" wide, and is contoured for use with most Mast Sections.
