| Deck Cleats | ||
| Cleats are used to tie off a line (halyards, reef lines, etc.),
wherever needed. Deck Cleats are designed for attachment to the Deck or other flat surface,
generally
having both a wide base attaching with 4 screws, and a hole in the base so a spliced
eye
can be run through it and slipped over the Cleat. Rig-Rite stocks a large selection of Deck
Cleats.
Common varieties are listed below. The most economical Deck Cleats are indicated by an * after
the
Part Number, and are recommended for new installations. Other, more expensive, Deck Cleats are
listed
for special requirements and applications where hole spacing is critical.
